Hello

havent been on here in ages, mostly because I've had other stuff on my plate such as A Levels and what have you. Now it's summer, I have plent y of time to work on this. Just followed an LSDJ tutorial by Sabrepulse to make a bit of a funky toon. Its not really original, I used Sabrepulse's notes, chords and timings, but I did a little bit of a solo here and there. Obviously, im not going to be claiming this as my own, but i am impressed with it as a start. The recording is a bit dodgey, and there are a few random burps throughout the track.

NEW BUTTONS!!!

Today I was bored, so now my DMG has ps2 buttons. YAY. They stick out loads more than he originals, but this doesn't feel too bad.

the triangle is a little sticky. I did this is a bit of a rush. Oh well. I'll probably be removing after the novelty wears off and it becomes annoying.

Pro Sound Photos

This is the prosound me and my dad did on my yellow DMG-01 last night:

sexy yellow DMG on my equally sexy Garfield bed covers

This is what It looks like with the new audio jack on it.

This is the Smart Card and Transferrer I got from Rob Webb I've loaded LSDJ onto it and its rather dandy. The transferrer is a pretty bad design. Uses USB for power, yet connects through serial.

After the surgery. The electrical tape is to stop any shorts.

These are the joints. I couldn't see them so my dad had to solder them for me.

First Post, YAY!

Hopefully, this is to be the first of many posts on this here blog. Basically, our band started out because both me and Jamie love chiptoons and screamo musics. Naturally, we figured we'd forcibly mash them together to see what happens. I have no musical talent or background while Jamie is in a band called Sinister Horizons playing bass and screaming a lot.
This band started life as a pisstake called 'Shitting Dick Nipples'. When we decided that screamtune (lol) might be onto to something, we thought we ought to make the name more palatable. So, Falcon Punch! was formed. Apparently some crazy 'circuscore' band already exists with that name. So, after a 30 second brain storm, we went for El-Low-El! It's a pretty shit name but we don't care much. Maybe if this band goes anywhere we'll change it

UPDATES SO FAR
I got my hands on a DMG-01 and its bright yellow! (<3 ebay) and also a copy of LSDJ. Recently Pro Sound modded that Gameboy for a better sound quality (pics to comes soon). I am by no means a pro at this LSDJ malarky, but I'm figuring it out.

Jamie also bought a DMG-01. An oldschool GreyBoy. Eventually I'll get round to Pro Sounding that for him.
